The next Super Bowl championship will take place in February 2023, so we don’t have long to wait until we see who is crowned victorious. This will be the Super Bowl 56, and boy oh boy is it going to be a good one. Last year we saw the Los Angeles Rams take home the trophy, so let’s see if they can do it again this year. Unlikely Winners
First, let’s take a look at who is the least likely to win the Super Bowl this season. Coming in with odds of +2200 are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the New England Patriots, The Denver Broncos, and the Los Angeles Chargers. All of these aren’t likely candidates for the cup, but that doesn’t mean some of them haven’t been playing well. The Patriots recently won against the Arizona Cardinals at 13-27, and the Chargers beat the Miami Dolphins at 23-17. So, there are some good games happening for these less likely winners. However, the Buccaneers recently lost to the San Francisco 49ers at 35-7, which is a terrible defeat to have hanging over you. The Broncos were also beaten by the Kansas City Chiefs at 28-34, which was a pretty close match and not that bad of a loss. Because of their most recent defeat, the Buccaneers have actually fallen out of the top 10 teams, and with Tom Brady announcing his retirement, it’s unlikely that they’ll climb back up. So, unless some miracles happen in these teams upcoming games, it’s very unlikely that they’ll win the Super Bowl 56.
Favourites To Win
Now, let’s take a look at the favourites to win. As usual, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills are right at the top, with odds of +650 and +750 respectively. Surprisingly, previous champs the Rams, are third favourite, with odds of +1100. However, the Rams aren’t a team to go down without a fight. So, they’ll be trying their best to win back to back Super Bowls which is something that hasn’t happened in nearly twenty years. Even though the Buffalo Bills failed to beat the Vikings recently, it doesn’t mean they aren’t in with a fighting chance of taking home the trophy. So, it looks like a familiar line up for the favourites to win this year, but we’ll have to keep watching the games to find out for sure.
